We have started the deployment of the marine forest species grown in our laboratories on the coast, namely fibres with Laminaria hyperborea in the subtidal and recruitment discs of Fucus serratus in the intertidal. These are essential steps for successful restoration programmes! We will continue to monitor their growth, test other seaweed species and implement strategies to upscale these restoration efforts!
